Recycled Cash:

Residents at the St. Elizabeth’s Day Centre in Much Hadham have received a cheque for £2,000 from environmental organisation ECCO for taking part in a textile recycling scheme in Harlow. The residents volunteered their time to help fold leaflets and deliver plastic bags to hundreds of homes across the town for people to collect unwanted clothes and other materials for recycling.

ECCO director Sean Folan is pictured presenting the cheque to Day Centre manager Janet Sherwin and a group of day centre users.
