How Text-BAC works

Text-Bac visits all lowrise properties in Harlow and Epping Forest districts, including households in socially deprived areas ensuring they have an equal opportunity to participate in recycling initiatives. The textiles collected from the project are bought by LMB, thus creating funds and aiding the projects development to become self funded. All textiles, clothing and shoes are sorted by LMB for reuse and recycling.

What to do when you receive a bag:

• Please fill your bag with textiles, using a separate bag for bric-a-brac and other items.
• Use the handles on the bag to tie it up. This will keep your items dry and protected from the elements.
• Please leave outside on the boundary of your property on the collection day. (Collection day is printed on the white label on your Text-BAC bag).
• Our drivers and collectors will then pick up your bag on their rounds.
• Our van will have the Harlow District Council logo on the doors, the Text-BAC logo on the sides and our other partner logos on the back.
If you need more than one bag, please use bin bags and put next to the Text-BAC bag.
